Timket in Ethiopia
Timket in Ethiopia is a group photography exhibition bringing together ten photographers working across seven locations. Opening on Sunday, January 25 at Artawi Gallery, the exhibition explores Ethiopia’s Epiphany beyond its most familiar representations.
Through intimate scenes, ritual moments, and regional perspectives, the photographs trace how Timket is lived and renewed across the country—highlighting faith as a shared yet diverse experience shaped by place, community, and change. Rather than a single narrative, the exhibition offers a layered portrait of tradition in motion.
