Analog in Ethiopia
This exhibition invites you into the world of analog photography opening August 16, 2024 where Seven photographers showcase the unique craft of this enduring medium. Each image reflects the patience, care, and unpredictability of film, highlighting the grain, texture, and shadows that invite a deeper connection. In an age of instant gratification, what draws people back to the tactile, deliberate nature of analog? Explore these works and ponder what makes analog photography so compelling today. Join us from August 16 to September 8 at Artawi Gallery. Experience the artistry of Arkie Tadesse, Corey Hart, Gelila Getahun, Haymanot Honelgn, loana Lungu, Sebastien Cailleux and Valentina Kim as they share their unique perspectives on life in Ethiopia.
